Our Lead Instructor at DTC Dental Assisting School in Honolulu, Hawaii

We were lucky to steal from UCLA dental the most qualified dental assisting instructor in Hawaii. She has worked in the dental field for over 35 years. She has taught students in the UCLA dental program on how to take proper x-rays for years. She holds a Dental Laboratory Maxillofacial Radiology Technician license which allows her to teach all type of 2D and 3D dental xray imaging anywhere in the country. No other instructor in Hawaii holds this license. She is also a registered dental assistant(RDA). Which means she has passed board examinations in California in order to acquire this license. She is the only instructor in Hawaii that is an RDA teaching dental assisting in Honolulu or in all of Hawaii. She is passionate about dentistry and is glad to be home in Hawaii to teach the younger generation and help fill the vacancy of dental assistants her on the islands. DTC Dental Assisting Program is lucky to have Lisa Yi running the program.
